I'm 27! Ugh!

Well I'm another year older. My b-day was on a Sunday so we celebrated the day before. It was a busy day. We took Aidan to his final swim lessons which wasn't so fun. A little girl in Aidan's class threw up in the pool right at the beginning & so everyone had to get out while they cleaned up. We waited a while but they said it would take a while to filter the pool & be sure it was all cleaned up. We decided not to wait since the boys were freezing cold. I then went to get my hair done. I had it cut & styled all cute. It was all curly which was fun. Then Bryan & I went and saw the movie "Mama Mia" which Aidan took a nap at home with Gma Darlene. Then we met up with my family & Bryan's parents at Bucca Di Beppo for dinner. It was my favorite - Italian! It was a nice day!

We spent a nice sunday afternoon at our favorite Murray Park. After we ate our picnic, Aidan kept the wipe in his hand as he walked around.

He fell down a few times, but got back up & took off.

Well I did end up having the surgery on Thursday night. We found out Thursday morning that they could get me in so we went to the hospital & waited all day to have the surgery. I was an add-on so I was put off & put off until 7:30 that night. It was such a long day & my anxiety kept getting worse as the day went on. They took me back at 6 & I waited outside my surgery room for a while but they were just kidding cuz my Anesthesiologist had to take care of the patient before me cause he was having troubles breathing. So they took me back to Bryan & I waited again. When they took me back at 7:30, I really didn't know if they would do the surgery right then or if I'd have to wait. Luckily I didn't have to wait. It was the weirdest feeling when I woke up cause I felt all that pressure. I really did think someone was kneeling on my chest. I really wanted to go home right away but they make you cough & pee before you can leave so that took some time. We didn't get back home till 5:30 Friday morning. My poor mom was with Aidan all day Thursday & stayed overnight. Thanks mom! Recovery was hard cuz you don't realize how much you use your stomach muscles just to get up & down. I did have both moms come on diff days to help me & Aidan. The hardest part was not holding Aidan or playing with him!
Aidan has been walking like crazy. He just decided to start walking across the room on July 15th & he hasn't stopped. He doesn't fall down or anything, he just waddles to where he wants to go & sometimes he even runs! It's so fun to watch!

Surgery...UGH!!!

Well I have gallstones. I've been experiencing pain on & off for months & only recently has it been really bad. Went to the Dr. on Sat & she said it was more than likely stones. They took blood & today I had an ultrasound. We counted at least 9 stones which is a lot! Hopefully I'll find out today when I'll have the surgery & hopefully it will be soon cause the pain is not fun! Thank goodness for pain meds! I hear the recovery from having the gall bladder out isn't too bad so let's hope. Cause I'm a baby when it comes to recovering!!!

Swim Lessons!

Aidan is taking the Aqua Tots swim class this summer. It's proven to be a fun bonding thing we do every Saturday & I think he really enjoys being in the water!
