Aidan's 1st Video Game!

For Christmas we got Aidan the Vtech Vsmile Baby. It's pretty much a baby video game system but the games are educational & fun. The controller is really cool with shapes & colors & since he is a little young to play the games, he can just play with the controller. It makes cool sounds!




He's also recovering very well from his surgery! Yay! I took him to the "helmet" doctor yesterday to get his helmet adjusted since he hasn't worn it for a week & we heard good news that there is only 7 milimeteres different. It started out at 12 & 1/2 & has improved greatly! They usually want the difference to be between 3-5 so we are almost there. The doctor thinks maybe just another month of wearing it! Yippy!

Surgery!!!

We all got to go to Primary Children's Hospital this morning at 6 A.M.!!!!! Aidan had to have a small same day surgery and we thought we would post a picture of him in his hospital best. (we both look so exhausted. It's 6 am after all!)
His surgery went well & the nurse was so surprised that he didn't make a peep when he woke up. He just chilled for a while. I was able to go back with him when he woke up & a little while later they got Bryan. The only thing he cried about was how hungry he was. He wasn't too happy that he could only have glucose water & some apple juice. Luckily he fell asleep on the way home & we were able to feed him when he got home. He's been doing well all day - sleeping! Gotta love that Loritab. He is such a good kid even recovering! Oh & by the way he says "Ma-Ma" now. The nurse is my witness. Ok, ok so he's been saying "Da-Da" for a while now big deal!

Ear Infection

We finally figured out that Aidan had an earache & that's why he was keeping us up 3 nights in a row. I took him into the Dr. and as soon as she looked in his ear, he screamed bloody murder! I had no idea that his ear hurt him that bad. I didn't think it was an earache since he has been teething & he was also congested. He's done much better since the medicine. Now I have his surgery on Thursday to look forward to. Chordee repair (boy parts) Hopefully everything will go well & he will recover well.
